ORUMC Family Camping

ORUMC Family Camping
All members and friends of Our Redeemer's are invited to join in our weekend family camping program. We usually camp once a month from June to October at locations within a couple of hours of Schaumburg. We do all the normal camping activities both individually and as a group, depending on the interests of each family. We also share a potluck supper on Saturday evening. We try to attend worship at a local church or attend a service at the campground.

Our 2009 schedule is:
June 5-7 Sugar River Forest Preserve Campground, Durand, IL (Alternate site - Rock Cut State Park)
July 10-12 LeAquaNa State Park, Lena, IL
August 14-16 Rock Cut State Park, Rockford, IL (Alternate site - Sugar River Forest Preserve)
Sept 11-13 Devil's Lake State Park, Baraboo, WI
October -Starved Rock State Park, Utica, IL
Three possible dates base on availability. We will try for:
#1 - October 9-11; #2 - October 16-18; and #3 - October 2-4.
